Postal codes ( or /郵政編碼 or 郵編; Pinyin: yóuzhèng biānmǎ or yóubiān) in China are a numeric six-digit system for the whole country. The first two digits show the province, province-equivalent municipality, or autonomous region; the third digit the postal zone; the fourth digit the prefectures or prefecture-level city; the last two digits the delivery post office. Postal code for Hong Kong is 999077 ( its not used ) and Macau 999078 which are given by China mainland.
